Badi privacy policy

Last updated 5 November 2026.

Badi is a private assistant used only by the person who runs it. The only Google account connected to it is theirs, so this policy describes what happens to their own data.

What it can access

Gmail and Google Calendar, with read-only access. It can't send, change or delete anything.

How the data is used

To sort email, answer the owner's questions about their mail and calendar, and write them a morning brief. It isn't used for advertising, and it isn't sold.

Who else handles it

The text of emails Badi reads is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be processed. Promotional, social and security emails aren't sent. Replies and briefs reach the owner through Telegram. The data isn't shared with anyone else.

What's kept

The sign-in token is kept on the owner's private server. So are the sender, subject and a one-line summary of each email, for 30 days, and for up to two months longer in encrypted backups. Briefs and conversations with Badi stay in its conversation log. The text of an email isn't kept.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
